My name is Marc Decatur and I am the owner and primary instructor at BANG BANG TEXAS. I started my adult life as a firefighter and became a paramedic. I eventually entered law enforcement and decided that gave me the most opportunities to help people (corny, right?) I have taught law enforcement and EMS courses for community colleges, police and sheriff’s departments, professional organizations and fire departments.

I am a fierce constitutionalist and proud supporter of the 2nd Amendment. I AM NOT a member of the NRA and refuse to join or support the organization. While I legally may carry a pistol and usually do, I am not the “RAMBO” type and generally try to avoid such people. As a sworn police officer for over 30 years, I have walked the walk and definitely am not a weekend warrior.

At Bang Bang Texas we have created a personal, private, and non-judgmental environment for learning shooting skills and other survival skills. While we welcome everyone, our desire is to attract traditionally underserved populations to include women and minorities. The 2nd Amendment as well as the constitution is for every citizen of the United States and we want those citizens to shoot safely and accurately.

The majority of the training we provide is conducted at our facility. There are circumstances where we will come to you, provided you have a suitable and safe location and it is financially feasible for us.
